A few weeks ago I wrote about some of the things that I hate about your blog, and now I am going to tell you a few things that I love about your blog.

I love links to your inspiration and to additional Posts that are similar.

I love lots of pictures of the activities that you post about.

I love printables.

  • Even though I rarely print and use other people’s printables (I have too many of my own), I still have a major love for them.

I love an RSS feed.

  • I won’t make it back to your blog on my own.  I have to be able to add your feed to my feedly.com reader so that I can return when a new post is up.  Often if you have added your blog to your webstite by placing it on a static web page (has .html at the end of the web address), then the feed is not discoverable by feedly.  This means you have to provide the feed for people to follow.

I love your own unique take on an activity or task.

So those are a few things that I love about your blog.  What are some things that you love?

  1. I agree, I love lots of photos. I am usually impressed by good, crisp photos (or should I say jealous)!

Now I do not always love links to other posts. I get frustrated when I see 50 Great Ideas About….. which translates to 50 links to other stuff without pictures. I easily get clicking based on a Pinterest picture. I love when the 50 great ideas about… are all from that blog so pictures are included.

I love first hand stories of why an activity/research/idea was wonderful or why not so wonderful.

Always impressed by nice layouts with easy navigation bars.

LOVE email subscription in the sidebar so I can get an email about every new post.

Now if I could only do all the things I love on my own blog – haha!

  2. HI Tonya:

Thanks so much for the concrete ideas about how to improve my blog. I will definitely look into the RSS feed. I had heard of it, but had no idea what it was!

    Cheers and keep blogging!

    Amy
