Making two dimensional pictures three dimensional is the power and beauty of Wikki Stix. I work with some kids that really struggle with the visual perceptual ability of figuring out where to place lines on the paper, and it helps to use Wikki Stix to physically build those lines.

I have a pack of laminated letter cards that came with my Wikki Stix, but you could laminate any letter cards (like the rainbow writing/playdoh ones that I made), and use Wikki Stix to follow the lines.

Wikki Stix are also an awesome fidget. They are quiet, so are not disruptive when using them. They are not messy, they keep hands busy, and they don’t require a lot of thought to play with. They are also easy to stash away in a small space, and are easy and portable. You could use pipe cleaner in a similar way that Wikki Stix are used.

Wikki Stix can also be used to adapt paper. If you place it along the top and bottom lines of writing paper, it can provide a physical prompt to stay within the designated space. What is your favorite use of Wikki Stix?
